Advanced Search Features
The Advanced Search provides enhanced criteria for focusing on a set of hospitals according to demographic and/or operational characteristics.  The resulting list of hospitals can then downloaded in Excel or mapped to support analysis.  (Unlike the free site, there are no limits on the number of hospitals that can be reported in a search.)

In addition to the look-up options in Free Services, you can look up hospitals based on data such as:

Type of Facility and/or Type of Control
Healthcare System
Services Provided
Bed size range (routine / special care / total)
Annual Discharges
Total Patient Revenue
Urban / Rural / Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA)
Group Purchasing Organization

Distance from a specified point (ZIP code or Hospital)

Hospitals meeting search criteria are listed.  Lists can be downloaded, mapped, or used to link individual reports.
