The Operating Trends app enables analysis of a hospital's important financial and statistical data over the most recent five-year period. It is a longitudinal view of key cost report information from the ahd.com Profile Report that enables the identification of trends and the tracking of performance measurements. The app labels the specific cost report periods being reported and their status (i.e. as submitted, resubmitted, etc.). Each section also provides Definition links that provide the source of each field reported. The app can also be dynamically reformatted to provide a layout by department or by measurement.
