I'm not getting any hospitals when I search.

The most common problem is caused by entering too many criteria. Try entering fewer criteria such as only the city or a part of the hospital's name. (In order to discourage misuse of the site, it is not possible to create large lists such as all hospitals for a state.)

Why am I being asked to enter a Validation Code?

If you are looking up numerous hospitals you may be prompted to enter a validation code. (The code is displayed as a graphic and must be keyed in for you to continue.) This step became necessary to prevent the use of automated inquiries in violation of our terms of use.

Why am I getting a message that says I've reached a daily limit?

Our free service is intended for individuals who want to look up a particular hospital or to review information about a small number of hospitals, such as those in a community. It is not intended for individuals who wish to build a database or conduct an extensive study. In order to discourage abuse of the free service it is necessary to limit the number of inquiries.
